Skating to and from school has got nothing on Jin Salamack, San Diego State University student who attempted to skate the entire coast of Calf. Salamack received lots of support and encouragement along the way and became an inspiration to many.
Expecting to skate from San Ysidro to the California-Oregon border in just 34 days, Salamack skated a total of 640 before calling it quits due to physical health concerns.
Salamack made it all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco before he decided we would try again next time. After gradation in 2015, Salamack plans to pick right up where he ended, skating from San Francisco to the Oregon border.
